A writer’s job is to investigate, to search out, to explore. Stories often have searches, quests, or exploration as their themes. The first plus the second equals a word perfect for the whole of young-adult fiction: works for people exploring this weirdness we call life.
As for me, hi. I’m Delia Thomas, and I like to write. I’m a huge fan of words, of stories, even of research–despite the fact that I often get completely distracted in the middle of it.
I currently live in the greater Pacific Northwest with my crazy family and two cats, neither of whom can type.
Comment Policy
The rules are pretty simple around here:
1) Don’t be a jerk. You don’t have to be all sunshine and polka-dots all the time, but there are real people behind the user-names.
2) The only things that will get you censored/moderated or outright banned are personal attacks or the posting of personal information (address, shoe size, phone number, that kind of thing). I would much rather spend time writing than moderating comments, by the way.
